Season’s Greetings from FindMeCoffee
It’s been a great year here at FMC and we have you to thank for it. We have been steadily growing and adding more and more users to our little App and Website. Here are some of the highlights that we have you to thank for.
+100,000 users.
More than 100,000 people have downloaded and are using our App all over the world. We have had submissions from over the world from big cities that we’ve all heard of like NYC, Chicago, London, Los Angeles and Toronto and little remote cities Ulan Bator in Mongolia and Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. You, our visitors have suggested over 3,000 new coffee shops and posted close to 10,000 reviews and comments.
Support for most Phones and tablets
We have worked hard to make sure that FindMeCoffee is available to as many people as possible so that everyone can find the local coffee shop that they are looking for when they are on the road or just looking for something new. FindMeCoffee is available for Apple Devices, Android Devices, Windows 7 & 8 Devices and Blackberry 10 devices. We’ve also kept our Mobile web version up to date so that we can support as many other older devices as possible. We will be keeping all of these platforms up to date and adding many great new features and functions.
Coffee for a Year Contest
We’d like to again congratulate Jaime Lilley from Regina Saskatchewan. Jaime won the $750 worth of hot brewed coffee from McDonald’s Canada during our Coffee for a Year Contest that we ran to help us celebrate reaching our milestone of 100,000 downloads. We hope that you are enjoying your daily coffee at your local McDonald’s restaurants. We will be running a many new contests in the coming year so keep coming back to find out when we’ll be running our next contest.
Coming for 2014
We have been working hard to keep our Apps and websites current by adding new features and functions. We have had lots of requests from user to be able to add photos to their reviews and to be able to reach out to their friends and invite them to meet for a cup of coffee. Those features are coming in early 2014.
Local Messages to Local Patrons
Coffee shops who are looking to reach more local customers will be able to see how many FindMeCoffee users are close to them and send them invites, specials and daily news. We will be piloting this in the Spring of 2014 are would like to hear from coffee shops and chains who would like to participate in the initial roll out.
