As the holiday season approaches there many of us will be scrambling around at the last minute to get those last few gifts. Many of us will spend hours wandering through malls and shops looking for gifts for your friends, family, bosses, gift exchanges and charity gift boxes. Why not stop at your local coffee shop or visit a coffee website to get something coffee themed. There are lots of great coffee related gifts for every budget and every need.
For your boss (make sure you have seen him with a cup of coffee in his hand)
Try a selection of gourmet coffees and chocolate cover coffee beans like the one available from Café Britt. You can spend anywhere from $50 upwards for something that is unique and that will remind him how thoughtful you are. Make sure to include something that is not totally consumable in the basket like a special mug or a great new traveller.
For your honey
I have to set this one up. It’s 5am on Christmas morning and you feel like you just got to bed because the chances are good that you did. Having just finished filling stockings and ensuring that Santa was on task. Sneak out of bed suggesting that you forgot something make sure that you return a few moments later with an Espro Press filled with hot coffee, some fresh toast and jam on the side to recharge the batteries before the pandemonium starts.
For your kitchen
You love espresso and you are always entertaining. Add a little pizzazz to your kitchen over the holidays with your own high tech gorgeous stainless steel espresso machine. When making this decision you need to think about a few things budget, durability, cleaning and how great it will look to have your kitchen look a little like a fancy café. Check out the “Barista Express” where you can grind, dose and extract all in one and in less than a minute.
Little gifts
How many little gifts you have is dependent on how big your social / family circle is. It’s not uncommon for us to buy dozens of small gifts for teachers, neighbors, friends. The local coffee shop is a great place to pick up little gifts from coffee cards to mugs from fresh ground beans to specialty treats covered with chocolate. The next time that you stop in to your local coffee shop take a moment and browse to see if they have any thoughtful gifts for the special people in your life.
Charity
Does your office or church do a gift drop off for those less fortunate? If they do, don’t forget the tweens and teens in some of those families. Our church had tons of gifts for tikes and tots but ran a little short for the tweens and teens. Here is my suggestion for your donation. Get basic stocking from your $dollar store, add a magazine for stiffness tape 2 movie passes to your local theatre and add gift card for a coffee afterwards I bet that you’ve made someone’s day.
