Romance at Tim Horton's

Woman Gets more than Coffee at her neighborhood Coffee Shop

Ok Guys.  The unique places that you can propose to your future spouse have been expanded to include her favorite coffee shop. When I got engaged I wanted to do it in a spectacular fashion.  I had the ring, the venue, cohorts and a reasonably hopeful expectation that she'd say yes. We were sitting at the "Top of the Rock" in New York City looking over the skyline on a beautiful spring evening.  I had the ring safely stowed in my front pocket. I was waiting for the right moment to pop the question when she asked. "Where do you (meaning me) think this relationship is going?" I couldn't have asked for a better setup than that. So I popped the question. The one knee, the ring, the tears of joy, the applause, and the venue it went perfect.  Imagine my dismay that I could possibly have done it at my locat Tim Hortons's and gotten the same result.

I'm not knocking Jared Gaber for pulling this off in such a wonderful way. He knows his future spouse well enough that she'd be down-to-earth enough to see appreciate the main idea - "He's asking you to marry him." , not the superficial - "He's asking you to marry him in a Tim Horton's take out window."

Let me provide some background at this point.  Jared Gaber asked his girlfriend Stephanie Pasternak to marry him through a take out window at her usual Tim Horton's on May 26th in North York Ontario.  He arranged a film crew, corrdinated with Tim Horton's head office and even had a co worker call her and ask her to bring a coffee into work that morning. The youtube video is awesome

I have to say that this marriage is probably going to go the distance for a couple of reasons.

Jared knew her patterns well enough to predict and plan the local - Good Listener.
Jared and Stephanie appreciate the "kitchiness" of the venue. - Similar values.
He pulled it off.  - Willing to work for the relationship.
She said yes. - Appreciation for the effort and the execution of someone elses plan.

Congratulations from us at FindMeCoffee and for those of you guys looking for a speical way and place to propose the whole world just opened up to you.
