Posted on: 2015-02-27 12:00 AM KFC, a restaurant that used to specialize in fried chicken, has unveiled a bizarre new food. It’s called the “Scoff-ee Cup", and it’s a 100% edible coffee cup. The “Scoff-ee Cup" is an edible coffee cup that’s a cookie with a sugar paper lining and a heat resistant layer of white chocolate. The idea is that, as you drink your coffee, the white chocolate melts and sweetens it, while the heat warms the cookie. Unfortunately, for now, the Scoff-ee cups are only available for a limited time at KFC locations in the UK.
To make things better/worse, the cups, which were designed in partnership with experimental food experts The Robin Collective, are also infused with scents said to help improve mood. These include the likes of coconut sun cream, freshly cut grass and wildflowers, which I guess are scents people actually want to smell while drinking coffee and eating a cookie cup?
